Linux/AM5728: connecting USB host to USB device

Hi,

I'm working on AM5728 EVM.

In our project we prefer to connect the EVM's USB (2.0 / 3.0) to Application Processor's (mangOH Red- WP) USB Host with an OTG Cable

In order to transfer the data from USB device(EVM) to USB Host(mangOH Red) we want to make above connection.

In AM5728 sdk many USB folders are available, but I'm not able to relate which USB.h and USB.c files are used for my project.

Suggest me with the appropriate USB.h or USB.c files path in the sdk-linux-am57xx-evm-05.00.00.15.

Hi,

Your application doesn't directly use the USB files/drivers in Linux kernel. Instead, it should use the userspace interface created by a USB function driver in the kernel.

The Linux kernel provide several USB device functions, you need to decide which one to use based on your project requirements, then configure Linux to use that USB function.
