Hi ,

Kemal has been quite helpful answering the questions and in the final thread, it is only one step away from making it right. I believe it is also quite helpful for others. I want to refer back to it to install my other components but found it is gone. Can you undo the delete or at least set it up as visible only to me so I could refer to it ? Because I find it quite helpful and can clear my thought.

Hello XYZ,

These are the exact commands you need to execute.

$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure dash
(Select "No" when prompted)

Close the current terminal where you have executed dpkg-reconfigure dash command and open a new one.

$ sudo apt-get install git build-essential python diffstat texinfo gawk chrpath dos2unix wget unzip socat doxygen libc6:i386 libncurses5:i386 libstdc++6:i386 libz1:i386

$ wget https://releases.linaro.org/components/toolchain/binaries/7.2-2017.11/arm-linux-gnueabihf/gcc-linaro-7.2.1-2017.11-x86_64_arm-linux-gnueabihf.tar.xz

$ tar -Jxvf gcc-linaro-7.2.1-2017.11-x86_64_arm-linux-gnueabihf.tar.xz -C $HOME

$ git clone git://arago-project.org/git/projects/oe-layersetup.git tisdk
$ cd tisdk
$ ./oe-layertool-setup.sh -f configs/processor-sdk/processor-sdk-05.01.00.11-config.txt
$ cd build
$ . conf/setenv
$ export TOOLCHAIN_PATH_ARMV7=$HOME/gcc-linaro-7.2.1-2017.11-x86_64_arm-linux-gnueabihf
# add <absolute path to sdk directory>/sources/meta-openembedded/meta-webserver \ to BBLAYERS += " \ in <tisdk>/build/conf/bblayers.conf
$ MACHINE=am335x-evm ARAGO_RT_ENABLE=1 bitbake nginx php mysql5

Thank you. I have bitbaked the ipk files and copy it to the default root directory of sd card. I have connected to the AM335x target board using the minicom but I cannot find the ipk files I have copied into the board. Could you tell where to find it?

I have checked out this guide. But when I try to copy and paste the ipk files onto the SD card using my Ubuntu host PC, it does not work and gives no prompts or alerts. Do you know why?

Type sudo in front of a cp command and see what happens.

But when I run opkg install nginx, it gives me error as shown in the picture here. Is there any way to solve this problem?

You are running old version of Processor SDK on that board. You need to create SD card with the latest Processor SDK to satisfy the dependencies for nginx and solve this problem.
