66AK2G12: NOR flash demo's

Hi Yordan,

I'm not using TI RTOS or Linux, so I need to be able to run a NOR flash demo on my EVMK2Gx as standalone. There are several demo's I can find, NORFlash, QSPI, and one in GPMC. Some only have defines for AM5xxx platforms and I wondered if these can be used, or if I needed to find a demo with SOC_K2G defines in it?

Hi Yordan,

I took look and at the same time had a look at the some other files, evmk2g_nor.c, and evmk2g_spi.c, that seem to hold all the functions for writing and reading nor flash. Would it be OK to use these as well?

Hi Yordan,

After testing I need to be able find api's to init, open, read, write, and close NOR flash, as I have to build them into into a flash driver for my file stack and continually read and write files to flash. The code I saw in norwrite.c looked like it was perhaps writing a file to run at boot-up , so I looked at the diagnostic files, would their API's be OK to use?

I'm using an RTOS and Fat32 File Stack, but not TI's own. I'd hoped to cut a little time by creating a shell driver for the File stack which could perhaps call the API's from the file evmk2g_nor.c. Would this be OK to do, or should I try and adapt the routines from the norwriter file?

Hi Yordan,

I've stopped trying to integrate anything for now and just build the diag norflash EVMK2G demo for the K2G, but I'm having problems with some functions unresolved (missing) even after I pulled in what I thought were all the files from the relevant directories. Do you have a this project assembled that you could send me a link to? I can only find the makefile.
