What's the point of WDT reset in ubl/serial loader for DM365?

Hello,

ubl/ UART loader (slh_DM36x) for DM365 stimulates WDT reset if it finds during device init procedure, that last reset to occur was POR (power on reset).

That's why, I believe, we need to launch serial loader twice if we want to put some code into DM365 via UART.

What's the point of making WDT reset?

    Hi,

    The reason for the WDT reset used in the UBL or UART loader is because of the Advisory 1.2.1 in the Errata document (http://www.ti.com/litv/pdf/sprz294d)

    I hope this gives you the idea of doing WDT reset.

    Я такой же пользователь-разработчик как и Вы, поэтому, если Вы хотите получить совет от специалиста из Texas, то лучше либо опубликовать свой вопрос здесь на форуме по английски, либо позвонить (написать) в поддержку TI - все их координаты есть у них на сайте, в том числе и поддержка по-русски - если не ошибаюсь, их московский телефон (495)981-0701.

    Конечно, если Вам нужно, я могу делиться своим скромным опытом - но это не будет "экспертная рекоммендация".

    Ну а вместе с камерой, Вы заимели какие-то средства разработки, чтобы вносить изменения в программу процессора DM365?
