IPC in C6472 cause wake from IDLE

In the C6472 do IPC events such as Notifies and MessageQ message passing have the ability to wake an IDLE Core? Is there a hardware interrupt at the heart of IPC?

Yes, interrupts are used by IPC Notifications and MessageQ messages when they arrive on remote processors.

The interrupt event ID is '84' and the interrupt source is called 'IPC_LOCAL'. You can find more information about hardware support for IPC in SPRS612B (C6472 data sheet).
