AM5728: camera input video format

AM572x Technical Reference Manual Review and ask questions.

We are going to use Embedded SYNC BT.1120 [1920X1080P 60fps] for the camera output video format.

It is explained that AM572x Technical Reference Manual supports streaming video up to full high definition (1920 x 1080p, 60 fps).
But I ask again. I would definitely like to have a clear answer whether it supports 1920 × 1080p, 60 fps.

I am closing this thread.
Please make sure you have checked the e2e thread in my first answer regarding BT.1120 capture.
Note: BT.1120 is not supported by the linux driver.

Hi,

The VIP IP responsible for parallel capture inside AM57x device can do multiple 1080p60 capture using multiple ports inside the IP.

Linux driver for VIP doesn't support BT.1120 embedded sync capture. The driver supports 1920x1080p60 capture using discrete syncs mode. If you want to use camera in embedded sync mode with BT.1120 format , then this will need driver enhancement.
