Hi team,

Please help to analyze customer's inquiry:

I like to ask to the better option to interface communicate between tms320c6657 and Artix 7, My options  are the next:

EMIF16

UPP

SGMII

I know there are not many examples and documents for UPP, the EMIF16 have many documentation and SGMII look like the easier and maybe better option since the Xilinx IP is avaliable. 

Please help to analyze so that i can choose the better one.

    Hi Nancy,

    Yes, you are correct about UPP. There is no TI driver for it, you should write your own.

    For EMIF16 and SGMII you have more documentation & sw examples. In my experience, I've seen more customers use EMIF16 than SGMII, but both interfaces work for connection to FPGA.
