Possibility of C54xx simulation in CCSv4

Is the CCSv4 supports the C5401 simulator?

if yes then How to add and configure it?

    Hello Ashwin, 

    If your code does not use BIOS, then you can use CCSv4 as is. C54xx support in BIOS stopped at 5.3x.  So, there is no BIOS support for C54xx in CCSv4. However,  you can use older versions of BIOS 5.x with CCSv4 by following these steps:

    1) Download older BIOS releases here: http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_registered_sw/sdo_sb/targetcontent/bios/index.html

    2) In CCS you can go to Windows->Preferences.  Expand CCS in the tree and select RTSC.  At the top is the tool discovery path where you can tell CCS where to look for target content products.  If you click the add button and point it to the 5.31 BIOS release you will be able to build BIOS projects for C54x.
