AM3356: Why we don't have scanner stack for Ethernet/IP

Part Number: AM3356

Our customer is interested in EtherNet/IP and our Sitara solution.  The EE is an elevator.

Why doesn't TI have a scanner stack for the EtherNet/IP?  Is this expected that most customers will have their own scanner stack?

Please advise.

-Kelvin

  • Hi Kelvin, As far as I know it is not due to any technical limitation with our Sitara devices. Probably it is more a business decision, on which protocols and, if slave and/or master, we invest our resources.
Maybe we can open a CATREQ for additional BU's inputs or approval

    thank you,
    Paula
