Linux/AM5718: USB 3.0 speed got very slow using ffs-test application

Hello everyone;

We are using the "AM5718" based custom board for our end application in which we are using "ffs-test" application used as a reference.

Now we are sending raw data over USB3.0 using "ffs-test" application where we got only 65MB/sec speed and as per our analysis, this if very slow.

can anyone help us to increase the USB 3.0 speed?

We are using the "4.9.59-ga75d8e9305" kernel with yocto os.

65MB/sec is aligned to the numbers we get on super-speed BULK transfer on AM57x usb peripheral mode.
But we are not aware of any way to improve the performance dramatically.

Nikunj,

Sorry for the confusion. 65MB/s throughput is about right, we measured the super-speed bulk transfer throughput with a USB hard drive and got a slightly lower throughput than 65MB/s. (I don't have the latest number though at the moment.)
