Tool/software: Linux

We are using AM572x General purpose EVM and ti-processor-sdk-linux-am57xx-evm-05.01.00.11-Linux-x86 SDK .

After compiling the SDK, the custom build images(without modifying the configuration) are copied to SD card.

On booting the EVM from SD card, the serial terminal displays the following :

Arago Project http://arago-project.org am57xx-evm ttyS2

Arago 2016.05 am57xx-evm ttyS2

am57xx-evm login: root

Login incorrect
am57xx-evm login:

But failed to login with 'root' password.

Kindly help us in resolving this issue...

    Hi Ankush,

    Do you use some of the 2 rootfs that comes with AM57x PSDK Linux?

    ti-processor-sdk-linux-am57xx-evm-05.01.00.11/filesystem/tisdk-rootfs-image-am57xx-evm
    ti-processor-sdk-linux-am57xx-evm-05.01.00.11/filesystem/arago-base-tisdk-image-am57xx-evm

    Most probably you have some changes in your rootfs comparing with the default. You need to track these changes and align to tisdk-rootfs-image-am57xx-evm.
