STARTERWARE-C6DSP: Installation problem

When I install StarterWare(C6748_StarterWare_1_2_04_01-Setpu.exe, or previous release)，my PC win7 32bit had no response and crashed later. I have tried many times, and all failed, How do I install the StarterWare? Thanks.

Hi,

StarterWare is an outdated version of TI RTOS. I recommend you use the latest Processor SDK RTOS:
www.ti.com/.../processor-sdk-c6748

I need a no-OS version, starterware may be better, but I couldn't install it

Can you test under linux? Also you should comply with:
processors.wiki.ti.com/.../StarterWare_Getting_Started_01.20.XX.XX
