Hi Fawn,

you can check in chapter "3 Calibration Tool" in the same document how to generate geometric tables.

You mean the chapter3 is the same as chapter2? I only need to refer to chapter3 and no need to refer to chapter2?

I have referrerd to "3 Calibration Tool" but It doesn't work very well on cars~ Do you have any suggestion?

Hi Fawn,

when you run calibration tool (chapter 3) with your calibration frames, you will get as output a .c file containing persmatin[] array which you use as described in chapter "2.5.3 Using new calibration tables".

Hi,

Are you using LDC based surroundview on Mesh LDC or DSP based 2D top down only Surroundview?

It was mentioned that the device is TDA3x, but different versions are possible in each.

In general, for calibration to work we need these three entities correctly

1) Lens model: This should be stored in a LENS.BIN file

2) Dimensions of chart: This should be in the CHARTPOS.BIN file

3) Calibration : Dependent on detecting the points correctly as the corners of the calibration charts.

Can you confirm on whether or not all of these specified correctly.

I'm not sure if there is any more advice I can give without any more specifics or more debug from your end. In my observation, most issues arise due to the lens model not being correct or /and the calibration points not being detected correctly. To verify, you can use a real 3d point in teh world and see if it maps correctly to the screen using the generated calmat and the lens model
