I may not be following what you are asking.

Are you asking if you assign different values for the CPSW driver to use for VLANs 1 and 2? If that is the question can you please answer why you need to use 1 and 2?

For example, our customer uses VLAN id 1 or 21 in the 172.21.1.0 network, or they use VLAN id 100 in the network 172.21.100.0 network.

So they usually use the VLAN id that represents a network segment, VLAN id 1 or 2 is too often used.

Hi,

After looking at the cpsw driver code I can only say that changing dual_emac_res_vlan in the DTS file will probably enable what you want to do. But, I need to add that is not what TI tests and so TI cannot make any guarantees or support this change currently. I will also add that your suggestion is good one and I will add this as a request for evaluation in future releases.

With your testing after this dual_emac_res_vlan change is the cpsw performing as expected?
