Hi,

I would like to have a suggestion regarding the selection of the board for my project. I want to acquire data from ADS1278 and store it into the memory (either PC or external DRAM). I would like to know your opinion on using TMS320C5515 DSP Evaluation Board for doing this (I would be using standalone DSP C5515 later). The sampling for ADS1278 would be 100kSPS and 8 port simultaneous sampling.

Also, I would like to ask that the OS required for the board is listed as Microsoft Windows 2000/XP. Is it a compulsion or can I use Windows 10?

Hi Nived,

As I'm understanding your requirements 8 ports of ADS1278 should be connected to 8 GPIOs of TMS320C5515. This is possible because TMS320C5515 supports up to 26 GPIO Pins. You can find details about TMS320C5515 GPIO timing requirements in datasheet section 5.20.2 at:

but speed of 100kSPS with 24 bit resolution should be applicable.
