Linux/AM3351: How to use Uniflash

The document for using Uniflash should still be fairly accurate. The process for creating the necessary images has improved and the latest SDKs include much of the necessary support.

What are they trying to accomplish? Program NAND, eMMC, etc.? With the specifics, I can provide a bit more detail on what they probably need to do.

This customer use NAND flash.

Please help how to do it step by step. And where to get related tools if needed, if in the PDK, please point the folder.

Do they want to program NAND over Ethernet or USB?

For NAND, it uses U-Boot commands via the debrick.scr to burn the NAND. The flasher.sh is not required. So, essentially they need to get U-Boot to a prompt with the necessary Ethernet or USB support included. Then they can TFTP the files and burn the NAND. Adding the appropriate support is going to depend on whether they want USB or Ethernet.

It is over EtherNet to flash NAND. if told us both EtherNet and USB, maybe others can get help from this post.

Customer pending on this over week. I looked wiki pages and user guide in SDK did not find a way out then come to e2e for help.

as I asked specifically where to find the tools needed files. 

You told only need debrick.scr, but what is debrick.src? I did not find debrick.scr in Processor SDK 5.02 install folder. I did not find a document explained debrick.scr.

Is this page the right document for Uniflash? or you have a more detail and exactly one?

Thanks for your support. I'm Mr. Mei, the customer of TI. I want to program NAND over Ethernet, and want use the SDK7.0, because we have done the modification of uboot to fit my board base on SDK7.0, and it can boot from SD card.

Now we want to program NAND over Ethernet base SDK7.0, but no reference document  was found explaining how to do it. 

I find a wiki link: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Sitara_Uniflash_Flash_Programming_with_U-Boot, but its for SDK6.0. I cann't build SDK7.0 uboot use 'am335x_evm_restore_flash' command , please help me, thanks a lot.

Could you please apply this patch. This should enable the restore flash config and make the guide applicable to SDK 7.0.

Here is an example debrick.scr:

It will need to be modified to match your images. This step is really optional as it simply grabs all the images at one time, but they can be copied separately as well without the debrick script. In some ways this is easier as you are just using standard U-Boot commands to tftp files and write them to eh appropriate partition on the the NAND as described here:
