Hi,

Is there any provision to know the operating clock frequency of the drivers of the EVM through CCS using the debugger ?

Hello,

You can check the current OPP via the gel scripts, check the scripts menu if you have installed the device support package.
You can also dump out the clock configuration register from CCS and load them into the Clock Tree Tool to see a complete picture of the device frequencies, see . Register dump gel scripts are provided in the CTT download package, refer to the user manual to see how you can dump configuration from CCS and load it into the tool.

Hi Padmesh,

In gel file there is an option called DRA7xxP_PRCM_Clock_GetConfig. You can run that to get the clock frequency.

The file what I can find is "DRA7xxP_PRCM_Get_Config.gel". Is it the correct one ?

Does making changes to it help in changing the clock frequencies ?

Hi Padmesh,

This is correct file and it is used to get frequencies.
In order to change frequencies you should refer to OPP APIs defined in DRA7xxP_prcm_config.gel, e.g. DRA7xxP_PRCM_Clock_Config_OPPHIGH_DRA7x_GENERIC.
