Question from customer/field:

Is there power spec for AM5728 on the pins for “valid combination 1” and “valid combination 2”?

Customer power designer would need the max current spec that can help them to run simulation to see if the board copper plane/trace are sufficient or not.

Hi Rogerio,

For "max current" it's hard to say because it's application dependent and we will always point them to the Power Estimation Tool. To help with their design though we have a Sitara Processor PDN application note. This app note has information on the DC resistance (Reff) as well as AC characteristics like loop inductance and trace impedance.

It's important for an analysis on both all these areas. The app note provided has specs for the design targets you should meet.
