Have you any one tried for single side component placement of AM3358(sitara) with DDR3?

    Hi,

    If you mean placing the AM335x and DDR on the same side of the board, this has been done on many designs, e.g. Beaglebone Black.
    However, if you mean placing ALL components, including decoupling capacitors, on the same side of the board, this is definitely not recommended. Decoupling capacitors must be placed as close as possible to the power supply pins they decouple, which means that the best placement is on the other side of the board, under the IC they decouple, and close to the decoupled pins.
