You mean discrete sync 8bit output? Yes, it does, but in RGB format.

Hi,

Actually, i was asking what is requirement on your final receiving device? Does it expect embedded sync or discrete sync interface? what is the frame format expected?

It is MIPI out,it expect discrete sync interface. the frame format is the following。

• RGB, YUV and RAW color space definitions

• From 24-bit down to 6-bit per pixel

• Generic or user-defined byte-based data types

Hi,

Since UB933 supports only 10 or 12bit data and It looks like the receiving devices support RGB565, i think you could use RGB565 as output data type from SoC.
I think UB934 does not output MIPI..

The receiving device is DS90UB936-Q1,It can output MIPI,but RGB565 need 16 bit data,UB933 suports only 10 or 12bit data?

Hi,

Ok, as i explained in below forum, you could even get YUV422 output over discrete sync interface from DSS. This is possible, but not supported in existing examples..
