Linux/EVMK2G: HDMI display example

If you run linux sdk with an hdmi display connected to the K2G EVM, you should see the matrix gui started up on the display. Then you could run some of the examples in it: software-dl.ti.com/.../Foundational_Components_Graphics.html

I am able to see the matrix application only remotely, connecting to a webpage served by K2G EVM, as described in the  Quick Start Guide.

Also the Matrix User's Guide says:

NOTE Local matrix is not available for platforms without display support, nor the Keystone-2 platforms, such as K2H/K2K, K2E, K2L, and K2G platforms.

I was expecting to be able to get what you say without success and just discovered yesterday about that note that K2G does not support local Matrix display.

Could you please have a look at the related question I posted about boot hanging with HDMI monitor connected: https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors/f/791/t/759883. Knowing your answer that I should have HDMI working out of the box, this look more relevant than before
