AM3359: Ethernet using both CPSW and ICSS

Our customer needs three ethernet ports. It seems to be achieved by using both CPSW and ICSS. All three ports use TCP/IP stack at 100Mbps.

Are there any reference design and software examples for the three Ethernet ports?

Hi,

There are no reference designs for this use case. You must use the Pinmux tool to confirm the connections. As for software, CPSW and PRU Ethernet are supported both in Linux and RTOS.

Does the PDK RTOS support using CPSW and PRU Ethernet at the same time?

NDK seems to support it.

If so, our customer will start by merging those examples.

Hi,

Yes, it supports 2 EMACs and 1 ICSS-EMAC. You can look at the individual NIMU driver test examples and merge them together.
