How to behave Ethernet/IP Adapter and Modbus TCP/IP slave by TI solution when both protocol frame is send in same network?

I mean if Ethernet/IP Adapter and Modbus TCP/IP slave will process the corresponding frame, otherwise it will forward correctly.

Hi Kuerbis, if there is other type of traffic Ethernet/IP will forward it. FYI, we have a ICSS_EIP_Adapter_Developer_Guide. Graphic from QoS section could also help to understand things better.

Just to let you know, our PRU-ICSS Ethernet/IP firmware and LLD is really close to PRU-ICSS EMAC Firmware/driver. So, you can also check this ICSS_EMAC_LLD_developers_guide for additional firmware/driver architecture details.

I understand Ethernet/IP Adapter could forward other type of traffic Ethernet/IP frame.

How is Modbus TCP/IP slave when receive other type of traffic Ethernet/IP frame?

Hi Kuerbis, honestly I am not too familiar with Modbus TCP/IP. Modbus is not one of our PRU-ICSS-INDUSTRIAL-SW. Do you know who is implementing it on TI's AMIC110?

I’m sorry. You are right.. Modbus is not one of our PRU-ICSS-INDUSTRIAL-SW.

It depend on the 3^rd party implementation, isn’t it. I need ask it to them.
