Can you suggest any Parallel NOR Flash Devices to interface with TMS320C6747(EMIFA).

    Hi,

    TI does not supply NOR Flash devices, and we cannot recommend any specific device. You can check the connection examples block diagrams in the TMS320C6747 Datasheet, see Section 6.10 External Memory Interface A (EMIFA).

    There are no specific requirements for selecting a parallel nor flash. Basically most of the chips should be supported. Please consult your component supplier if they have any recommendations/concerns.

    Hi Ambati,

    TI does not supply NOR Flash memory chips but you can search in NOR flash vendors. TMS320C6747 supports 8 and 16-bit parallel NOR with up to 256Mbits per chip select (There are 4 CSs CS2 - CS5).
