Linux/LINUXSDK-OMAPL137: How can I change pinmux 8 and 9 to enable SPI1?

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am working on OMAPL137EVM board. I want to use SPI1. I configured linux to build SPIDEV. It seems that I should also change pinmuxs 8 and 9. I do not have access to these registers directly. How can I change pinmux 8 and 9 to enable SPI1 on ARM?

You should modify the device tree file and rebuild your kernel. Which Processor SDK Linux are you using?

I am using MontaVista (MV) Linux Pro 5.0.

I'm sorry, that software is no longer supported.

I believe the changes you are looking to make should be made in the U-boot board file. But, I haven't looked at this package in a long time and could easily be wrong.
