Hi,experts,

I debug the Jacinto6 EVM by using CCS.

I am confused about the CPU reset and system reset. Could you provide more detail about this Pls?

Is it related to GEL script？

When I click on the CPU reset and System reset, what did it do?

CPU reset just reset particular core/CPU, whereas system reset resets entire system including all cores..

The CPU reset only reset the CPU pointer ? Or reset all the register ?

I have met similar confusion.

Will the "system reset" and "cpu reset" reset the whole system (including L3/L4 pheriphrals)?

For example, when I do "system reset" or "cpu reset", will the DDR controller or McASP module be reset too?

Hi Peter,

System reset will reset the DDR controller, MCASP and other IP registers.
