Hi,

I'm ruuning sample code.

(C:\ti\processor_sdk_rtos_am57xx_5_00_00_15\demos\rtos_template_app\am572x\evmAM572X\A15\template_app)

I don't think that src-file is nescessary after building

I wolud like to delete src-file after building.

Is it a problem ?

Hello,
after building the binary normally it can be loaded to device without existence of source files.
For safety you can try to move the sources in different directory rather than delete them but why actually you need this?

Hi Michail,
Thank you for your reply.

My customer hope to delete the previous object files.
Because the previous object files doesn't delete when they edited 'BIOS.smpEnabled= true' in "main.cfg" .

They usually think to delete the previous object files when building(cleaning) the project.
Please tell me how can I clear the previous obj-file when building(cleaning) the project.

Hello,
cleaning the project is done by CCS menu Project->Clean which will open a dialog window.
Is that working for you to remove your old files or they still persist?

Hi Michail,

Both of SMP option enabled obj-file and disabled one are existed in Src folder even though it executed the “clean” .

How can I clean obj-file which I don't need ?

Hello,

I am assuming that you use Windows OS. You can erase manually unneeded files simply by opening file manager, select them and delete.

Hello,
by default 'Project clean' deletes *.obj files. Which version of CCS you use? There are differences between older CCS and recent ones but all of them should delete obj-files during 'clean'.

Hi Michail,

I'm using CCS v8.2.
Looking at the console log, it seems that obj-file of src-folder are not deleted.

Hi Rei,

in this case you can make your custom rule for the 'clean' job. CCS looks also for makefile.targets file which normally is not in the project directory.

By creating a file with this exact name you can define your own rules for the 'make' system. Here is a detailed guide about that:
