Hi Denny,

It seems to me that DDR ecc is enabled for AM574x IDK board in u-boot code base. You can reuse this code for your custom board. Refer to below files and functions:

u-boot-2018.01/board/ti/am57xx/board.c

struct emif_regs am574x_emif1_ddr3_666mhz_emif_ecc_regs

u-boot-2018.01/arch/arm/mach-omap2/emif-common.c

dra7_enable_ecc()

For verifying DDR ECC, you might use the u-boot commands (available at u-boot command prompt):

u-boot-2018.01/cmd/ti/cmd_ddr3.c
