OMAP-L138: how to sublicense USB VID:PID

We're working on an OMAP-L138 based device that uses USB.

What is the procedure for obtaining a USB VID:PID sublicense from Texas Instruments for our device?

Hi,

The device Vendor ID (VID) as assigned by the USB-IF. The device Product ID (PID) as assigned by the manufacturer.The USB VID/ PID numbers are created by the product manufacturer, not the chip manufacturer when it is ready for production. For production, your company needs to get vendor and product IDs from the USB org, not from TI.

Many companies will sublicense PID under their VID for customers using their chips.

Microchip does this, FTDI does this, and TI does this for some of its chips (did a previous comment from Chris get deleted?)

Just wanted to re-iterate/ confirm again what Eric wrote, for Processors i.e. all the devices listed on the following page
www.ti.com/.../overview.html
We do not support USB VID:PID sublicense from TI unlike some of the other vendors you mentioned in your post above.
