Hi,

Does TMS320DM6446 support SDXC of SD card?

It seems to support SDHC.

We think the electrical specs of SDHC and SDXC are similar and the difference is file system (FAT32 and exFAT).

    Hi Masashi,

    It seems to me that DM644x device do NOT support SDXC. This is what we have in DM644x MMC/SD user guide:

    1.2 Features
    The MMC/SD card controller has the following features:
    25 MHZ maximum clock to SD (specification version 1.1)
    Supports SDHC
    The MMC/SD Controller supports SDHC address range but is limited to the 25MHz memory card clock.

    1.5 Industry Standard(s) Compliance Statement
    The MMC/SD card controller supports the following industry standards (with the exception noted below):
    SD (Secure Digital) Physical Layer Specification V1.1

    SDXC is defined in version 3.01 of the SD specification, while DM644x MMC/SD controller support v1.1
