RTOS/AM5716: TI-RTOS/AM5716 please guide us to utilize hardware timers on MPU(A15) with TI-RTOS(SYSBIOS)?

The timer module in TI RTOS for A15 cores is designed to use DMtimers what use the OSCIN  and on C66x DSP they use GP timers. There is also a timestamp provider module that uses A15 PMU counter that gets used for benchmarking code and different operations. 

If you want to use the timer, please refer to the code that I have attached:

In the .cfg file, you need to add 

var Timer        = xdc.useModule('ti.sysbios.timers.dmtimer.Timer');

Set Timer ID and input clock correctly as configured on your custom board. \
