Linux/AM3352: new u-boot porting guide

Part Number: AM3352

Tool/software: Linux

Hi,

I am try to porting Am335x u-boot (Linux SDK 05_02_00_10) to our board.

I found a few guides:

But they are all old, since the new u-boot is based on device tree file as I understand.

Do you have new guide based on current u-boot (version 2018.01) in the sdk ?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

  • Hello Robert,

You can find the latest Foundational Components listed in this page. The other old wiki pages are just for reference and no longer maintained. The device tree files usage in U-Boot is ongoing and not fully compatible with all the components yet. In general they aims to work as ordinary Kernel device trees. You can refer to this post to find more information about how the device trees and addressing in them works.

    Best regards,
    Kemal
