Linux: How to get the mtd_utilities in the target board

How to enable the mtd_utlities like ubimkvol or ubiformat available in the target so i can debug better? KIndly help.

I am trying my app on TI board and flashing on the NOR only solution where i am trying to use UBIFS for one of the partitions as an evaluation.

Please post what Linux version you use and which "TI board" is this.

Linux version is 4.10 and TI board is dra7xx_evm

Hi Harish,

can you give details exactly which SDK you use? I did a quick check of the rootfs of the current version (5.00.) of the PSDKLA:
processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Category:Processor_SDK_Linux_Automotive
and it contains 'flash_erase', 'flash_unlock', 'ubiformat', 'ubimkvol', etc.

You can also have a look at those documents:
