Programming an universal remote control for DVEVM

We bought an universal remote control to use it with DM355 DVEVM and derived products. How shuld I program an RC? Which device and brand?
Code 0020 for Philips RC corresponds to CLP classic, which I can't find for my RC.
( I now, I can select my own encoding and program all codes my hands. I look for more easy, comparable and reproducible solution. )

    Unfortunately I am not even sure that 0020 is a valid code for the Philips remote that is shipped with the EVM boards, being that it is not listed in the DVD section and we are using the DVD functions on that code, though you are right that the paper in the remote packaging shows 0020 for CLP Classic that is for a television as opposed to a DVD player. I am not sure why this particular code was chosen, my suspicion is that this was the default code for whatever remote was used initially during the bringup of the EVM, and it just ended up being this value for the Philips remote.

    Does your new universal remote have a code search option or a learning feature? You may be able to get it working through those features, I looked through the Philips site but I could not find a reverse index of codes to device manufacturers, I am not sure if their support would help in this case or not as it is kind of an odd question from their perspective.
