I have am5728 idk when i try to connect usb debug cable with my linux pc it is not detecting the board

Please provide more information: What Linux version is running on your PC, what do you observe when you connect the board, which USB connector of the IDK you are using, did you try with a different cable, etc...

I had created sd card with linux sdk. now I inserted sd card in board and connected power supply and usb debug to my linux 14.04 pc. I tried using screen and minicom but it is not detecting, I tried with other cables also but it is not working

Hi Sriranjani,
Are you attempting to use the USB for connection to the on-board XDS100 using code composer or are you attempting to open a terminal window connection to the UART?
