Hi Champs,

We understand NETCP priority address on the previous thread.

According to this TRM (4.2.1 and 5.3.3) register map , we understand this physical address is "0x0200_400C".

Is this correct ?

When we look into this address with JTAG, we couldn't read out this value.

Do you have any special process to read this value ?

Which TRM are you talking about? Which register are you trying to read?

When you connect the JTAG do you load the gel file? In the GEL file do you initialize the clock (pll) for the NETCP? You should be aware that you cannot read IP registers without enabling its functional clock first.

The address is correct. The PriorityControlRegister in Packet DMA in the Multicore Navigator (CPPI) Subsystem within the Network Coprocessor is indeed 0x0200_400C.

You shouldn't need a special GEL file. When you load the gel file from ~/ti/ccsv8/ccs_base/emulation/boards/xtcievmk2x/gel/ you should make sure the PASS PLL is configured to clock the Network Coprocessor.
