DPCM decoder

I would like to decode dpcm encoded raw image encoded with simple predictor for debugging purpose.
How is the error between predicted value and actual value quantized and encoded ?

I think it would be great to have such a tool, because we could try various tools offline, and then configure the
various post processing block.

I know there is such a tool for the DM365 IPNC camera, but it is not doing great at working offline, and it cannot
open DPCM images, only ALAW images.

    Without such a tool, it is not possible to opimize or debug post processing and work with DPCM.
    Is this information available somewhere ?

    A negative answer is also an answer. Just saying : the information needed for DPCM decoding is not available, even through NDA
    allows me to think about another solution.
