Hi,

How can I write my application to the MMC/SD card in the LCDKC674X development board and run it on the board without connecting to a PC? I wrote an audio DSP code which is working fine on the board from CCS. Now, I need to save the application code to the MMC of the board. I want the code to run on the board as soon the board is powered without connecting to a pc.

Hi Arif,

My understanding is that you want to boot from MMCSD. Please take a look at the following boot guide for instructions on how to do this:

Hi Sahin,

Thank you very much for your response. I went through the link you provided.

You are right, I want to boot from the MMCSD and also want to run the application code on the EVM when it is powered on.

I guess, my knowledge on C6748 EVM is insufficient to understand the steps from the link you provided. Could you please send me a step by step process on how to do that? A link of a video tutorial or instructions will be very helpful.

Hi Arif,

I could not find any video tutorials for this, but you will want to start at the section titled MMCSD Boot Mode and follow all of the steps there until section 4.6.3.7.5 Memory Usage.
