SM470R1B1M-HT: Internal Flash Read Example

I have seen some entries in this forum regarding write/read/erase of the SM470R1B1M internal flash that point to the IAR flash loader routines. They contain routines Flash_Write and Flash_Erase but I cannot find one for reading. Can an example that someone could share?

Nothing special is required for reading the flash. The erase and programmation require algorithms to properly erase and write to the flash.
There is a flash read routine within the flash API, that will move a range of data from flash to the RAM.
The flash API and documentation is available in the product folder:
www.ti.com/.../toolssoftware

Thanks. I see these routines in flash470.h: READ_FLASH_MEM_U32(a,x), READ_FLASH_MEM_U16(a,x), READ_FLASH_MEM_U8(a,x), Flash_Read_V(UINT32 *start,UINT32 *buff,UINT32 length,UINT32 mode,FLASH_CORE core,FLASH_ARRAY_ST cntl). Is this what you are referring to? I can't find the code for them or documentation. Any feedback would help me see if I'm going in the right direction.

Yes, those routines are part of the flash API.
Have you checked installed the flash API documentation referenced above?
There is documentation within the installed directory.

I see the documentation now. I had some problems with my installation because the shortcut didn't work but I found the document in the installation directory. Thanks. This should help a lot.
