TDA2P-ACD: TDA2Px OPP PLUS settings

Hi Experts,

My customer is using TDA2Px RVP and Radar SDK 3.04 (with modifications for TDA2Px RVP). It is working fine now. They want to change DSP and EVE frequency to 1GHz and 900MHz, respectively. They called
TDA2Px_PRCM_Clock_Config_OPPPLUS_ADAS();
from TDA2Px_startup_common.gel but then no UART is output. Can you please give us GEL file for OPP=PLUS? If software change in Radar SDK is easier than GEL modification, please let me know how to do that.

Hi Ken,

Unfortunately OPP Plus support was added in SDK 3.05 release.
Is it viable to use SBL image from this release?

For the latest GEL files, please ensure the customer is using the GELs from processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Device_support_files

We have not any specific issues with respect to UART not working when setting the DSP and EVE frequency to OPP_PLUS.

Couple of things to be careful about:
1. Can you please check if there is any overheating due to the board not designed for handling the power and thermal dissipation correspoing to the OPP_PLUS? Which board is being used to test this? Do you see the device going to reset?
2. OPP_PLUS frequency change requires a correspondng voltage change for guaranteed operation. It is better to make sure the AVS settings are corresponding to OPP_PLUS. You can use Processor SDK Radar 3.6 SBL as a reference to make sure the AVS is set correctly.
