I would like to know as below questions

In case of AM4376 EVM BD, a TPS38600 is applied for the EVM BD.

Should The TPS38600 be used for AM4376? If not, Instead of Tps38600, How about designing DC/DC or PMIC only?

Pleae let me know the way instead of TPS386000.

Hi,

You are referring to the AM437x IDK schematics. This is an example of a discrete power supply. The AM437x GP EVM schematic shows the preferred power supply schematic, using the TPS65218 PMIC: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../AM437X_EVM_Boards

Thank you for reply.
According to the Data sheet of TPS65218, it say that Not Recommended for New Designs.
Designer wants to use OPP Mode provided from Processor to reduce power consumption. The OPP mode need PMIC by communicate each other.
