sorry John as i was out with some work...
i am a beginner who is working on omapl138...I have gone through omap datasheet and i have been assigned the interrupt part from my boss.
i learned only the basics of interrupt and i want to practice some programming part on the interrupt

i am using ccs studio Version: 8.3.0.00009.
how edma3 will interrupt the CPU... if u have any code snippets to understand the edma3 interrupt part it would be fyn...

I recommend getting started with Processor SDK RTOS:

Within Processor SDK RTOS, you will find example code and device drivers, including for EDMA. Documentation on the EDMA driver and API can be found at the following link.

I also recommend taking a look at the EDMA chapter in the OMAP-L138 Technical Reference Manual.
