hello,

I want to perform a Parallel Byte interface(16bit) between my ADC (AD7606) using PRU.... and a Linux host program (in python) to read that transferred data from ADC for further processing..::

please suggest me some documentation and similar projects to follow on with. ! and what are the prior home works should I complete before proceeding with the projects...

I am very new to PRUs. but worked on beaglebone black.

Hello Pratik,

Take a look at the TI Design Flexible Interface (PRU-ICSS) Reference Design for Simultaneous, Coherent DAQ Using Multiple ADCs. You can find the software in the AM335x Linux SDK 5.1 or later.

This is a fairly advanced example, so after you read through the documentation feel free to ask follow-up questions. Our hub for PRU information is currently at the PRU-ICSS wiki, and we have a more basic series of "getting started" examples at the PRU Hands-on Labs.
