Hello,

this question is related to a previous question about ASPICE and TIDL. I would like to know more whether there are any measures of code quality and tracability which one can make use of as an alternative to being not ASPICE-compatible? This could be measures or outputs from the internal IT process. We are interested in the process under which the code was developed and tested as this influences the code reliability and error tracebility. Is this documented anywhere?

The development methodology is not as regiruous to be of same level as ASPICE L2. But high level belown information should provide you some guidance

1. The requirement to test traceability is maintained.

2.Code, design review and version controlled based development is followed.

3.Static analysis tools like klockwork is used for MISRA C compliance and C/C++ critical errors identification and fix of these.

1. No dynamic coverage methods are used.

2. requirement to design or design to test traceability is not followed

thank you Pramod. What do you mean by "dynamic coverage methods"? I expect the code to be free from dynamic memory allocation. Is that wht you mean?

The code is free from dynamic memory allocation.
By dynamic coverage I meant branch and statement coverage of the code.
