CCS/TMS320C6678: Image processing demo failed !

Hi, I want to send a pic to 6678 by the net-port, I did the following steps:

Under C:\ti\processor_sdk_rtos_am57xx_x_0x_xx_xx directory, run the following commands:

setupenv.bat
gmake demo_clean
gmake demo
the OUT files for A15, DSP1 and DSP2 will be built at
   C:\ti\processor_sdk_rtos_am57xx_x_0x_xx_xx\demos\image_processing\ipc\evmam572x\host\build,
   C:\ti\processor_sdk_rtos_am57xx_x_0x_xx_xx\demos\image_processing\ipc\evmam572x\dsp1\build, and
   C:\ti\processor_sdk_rtos_am57xx_x_0x_xx_xx\demos\image_processing\ipc\evmam572x\dsp2\build respectively

and I import the project to ccs8.1.

I got that:

the Error_IGNORE is undefined ???,I should how to define that .

Hi,

You're using TMS320C6678, right? Then why do you use the AM57xx RTOS SDK? The examples from AM57xx RTOS SDK will not work on TMS320C6678.

Hi,

The most likely reason is that you use the wrong xdc tools version.
I see you have multiple versions of the Processor SDK RTOS installed. You have 3 versions of the xdc tools: 3.32, 3.50 and 3.51.
You use the oldest version 3.32. Try changing the xdc tools version to 3.50 or 3.51 depending on the Processor SDK RTOS version (you did not specify which one you use), see this thread for reference:

Hi, I make sure the xdc tools version is 3.50 in this project, but I still cannot build this project.

I found that the setupenv.bat is the method to build without the CCS. the built file is in the {PROJECT_ROOT}/build/,
if I build the project in CCS , the built file is in the {PROJECT_ROOT}/debug/.

When I build the project in CCS8.1, ccs will use the file in {PROJECT_ROOT}/build/, so I delete all the file s in {PROJECT_ROOT}/build/,

Am I right??

I am not sure what are you trying to build. First of all you run the pdksetupenv.bat, then either use gmake to build from the console or run pdkProjectCreate.bat to create CCS project and then import it to CCS & build. You should not delete the makefiles from the source directories.
