RTOS/AM5726: How to reset AM5726 without PCIE function and DDR related function

Hello, TI Experts,

Our customer sent us question about PCIE function with PROCESSOR-SDK-RTOS-AM57X.

They start to design their custom board of their EP(End point) product by using AM5726 based on TMDXIDK5728.

And they would like to know how to reset AM5726 without PCIE function and DDR related function, if their custom board is built in PCIE slot of PC.

- They would like to reset AM5726 such as RESETn(E23) pin:Warm Reset.

- But they want to stay PCIE function and DDR related function including DDR3 area for PCIE.

Question:

Are there any recommended way of reset AM5726 without PCIE function and DDR related function, if their custom board is built in PCIE slot of PC?

Hi,

The only 100% reliable way to reset AM572x devices is described in Errata Advisory i862.
