SD card issues with DM6443 silicon version 2.1

We have successfully used SD cards (Class 2, 4, and 6) with DM6443 silicon version 1.3. However, when switched to DM6443 silicon version 2.1, the SD card is not always detected.

We boot from a NAND flash and keep the Linux file system on the SD card. We use Montavista Linux 401 (kernel version 2.6.10).

Has anyone experienced a similar problem? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
