AM4379: Custom board support

Part Number: AM4379
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AMIC120

Hi all,

I am newbie with embedded linux. I need your suggestions.

Our hardware team designed custom single board computer with AM4379.

They refer to AM437x/AMIC120 Industrial Development Kit (IDK) and the when designing custom board.

It's my duty to run Linux at our custom board.

I examined Processor SDK Linux Software Developer’s Guide. (http://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-linux/esd/docs/05_02_00_10/linux/index.html)

But i'm a little confused.

I am using Windows o.s, but my target device o.s Linux.

I downloaded "ti-processor-sdk-linux-am437x-evm-05.02.00.10-Linux-x86-Install.bin"

Naturally, i cannot open .bin files at windows o.s.

In addition, we think to boot our board from nand so  "Windows SD Card Creation Guide"  does not work ...

Where can I find bootloader program ?

How can I load bootloader program ?

Which steps should I follow ?

Thanks

Mehmet
