Linux/AM5728: Does Current Processor SDK supprt OPENCL on GPU

One customer would like to use GPU for general computing, ask if current Linux Processor SDK support OPENCL on GPU? if yes, where is the user guide?

So from below table, we don't support OPENCL on GPU.

One more question, is the 1 device with 2 C66x running SMP SYSBIOS?

Hi, Tony,

I thought the GPU means those Hosts of the different systems/devices. On the ARM cores, it is running SMP LInux. RTOS on C66x is not SMP.

I spent over 5 minutes on this word, I still don't understand. Do you mean GPU(3D Graphic accelerator SGX544) is Host if exist in the OPENCL framework?

If Am572x do not support GPU as a device to MPU, which processor support that? Is AM6x?

Ok. For GPU, it shouldn't be OpenCL, but OpenGL. Please read the Developer's Guide on "Graphics and Display", software-dl.ti.com/.../Foundational_Components_Graphics.html.

It is in Processor SDK Linux Developer's Guide, and you can search for that. Under Foundational Components, then Graphics and Display. Here is the link to Developer's Guide.

In Graphics and Display chapter, it lists the TI families supported by SDK, and their SGX core information.
