Hi,

I am getting value of PI_DATA from AIF2 register. And PI value is 0 for link 4, but other link is ok.

rmSyncStatus = 0x1 ---------FRAME_SYNC state

tmFrameStatus = 0x40 --------FRAME_SYNC state

The configuration has been checked, there is no problem, but why is the obtained PI value is 0?

Which AIF2 register? Have you read through the AIF2 user guide? (search for SPRUHL2b on ti.com). It is possible that this is not required for the type of link that is programmed for link 4. Is there an actual problem?

Hi,

If I no misunderstood, software config at_pimax_lk and at_pimin_lk registers and get actual PI value from at_pivalue_lk registers.

These configuration is suitable.

AT_PIMAX_LK = 0xc8a2 = 51362

AT_PIMIN_LK = 0xc884 = 51332

AT_PIVALUE_LK = 0x0 = 0

This issue happened by chance and did not appear afterwards. I need to get the root cause.

And I suspect it could only be hardware limitation or hardware issue that sometimes PI can’t be correctly set by AIF2 hardware.

From my understanding reading through the documentation, capture of the PI value is determined by when the module recognizes K characters. That might be the place to start looking, but it sounds like there is not a configuration problem.

Hi dave,

Thank you very much for your analysis.

We can sleep 500ms which is a pretty long time for AIF2 hardware to transit from one state to expected state.

Whether the Aif2 hardware is not recognized K characters sometimes?
